5 km Walk for Homelessness

As a team, our resolution this year was to become more involved with our community. As members of Spruce Grove and Stony Plain, the Holly Cochrane Mortgage Team decided that we would like to help create positive change. To begin our efforts, we have signed up for an event called the Coldest Night of the Year. It is a walk that will take us through Spruce Grove on a February evening. It is called the Coldest Night of the Year. The initiative behind this walk is to raise awareness toward the homeless and the hurting in our area. The charity receiving our fundraising efforts will be the Parkland Food Bank. This is such a positive charity as it gives food and other support directly to fellow community members in need. 

This walk takes place on February 25th. We are participating in the 5 km, although there are also 2 and 10 kilometre options. Our goal is to recruit a large team and raise at least $1,500 for the Parkland Food Bank. We would love it if you would help us!
