There is nothing more exciting than buying your first home! From choosing the perfect home with your REALTOR®, to getting your financing approved with your mortgage broker, and finally to possession day – the process is exhilerating. What you are left with at the end is your perfect home to do with what you desire.

Maintenance on your home will be a new experience for you. It will feel great to hold the responsibility for new renovation ideas, landscaping projects, and other upgrades. It is important to remember that some of those ideas that may seem logical, even creative, should be avoided at all costs. Here is a list of things to avoid and why.
